About
Natalie Kueneman:
Natalie
Kueneman currently works full time as a makeup and hair artist
(click
here to see her website) in San Francisco, California on magazine
editorials, print and television advertising, music videos, and
runway. She has worked on celebrities such as Ellen Pompeo, Eva
Longoria, and the cast of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. However,
her passion is helping women of all ages and backgrounds feel confident
and beautiful!
Though
she always wanted to work as a makeup artist, Natalie did pursue
a different career path at first. She attended Duke University,
where she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. After
working for a few years, Natalie went back to graduate school at
The Georgia Institute of Technology to obtain her Masters in Science
in Molecular Biology. Natalie even began her research for a doctoral
degree in the field, but decided to take a break to pursue makeup
artistry full-time. The "break" ended up as a permanent
career switch, and she has never looked back!
In
addition to hands-on work experience, Natalie did receive formal
training in makeup artistry via specialized workshops and seminars.
She has also worked under top artists, where she has learned all
the professional and inside "secrets" to beauty. Natalie
is also constantly attending workshops, seminars, and meetings to
learn the newest in makeup and makeup application.
Natalie
is very interested in cosmetic chemistry, and subscribes to trade
journals to keep up to date on the newest technology and ingredients
on the market. She is familiar with most cosmetic and skin care
ingredients--and how they work (or don't work). Therefore, she is
able to give each of her clients objective and unbiased advice.
Natalie
specializes in clean, fresh, and beautiful makeup that enhances
each woman individually. Her science background, combined with makeup
training and experience, allows her to focus on cosmetics and application
techniques that are flattering and suited specifically to her clients.
